The Radiological Society of North America was established in the early twentieth century to advance radiologic science education and practice and to provide a multidisciplinary forum for radiologists physicists and technologists and the society grew into a major international organization that convenes annual scientific meetings and publishes educational resources
Educational Programs and Meetings
RSNA developed robust educational programs and large scale annual meetings that showcase technological advances clinical research and practice guidelines and these gatherings accelerated dissemination of new modalities and fostered collaboration across specialties and institutions
Standards Setting and Global Reach
Over decades RSNA contributed to guideline development quality assurance and to international collaboration and its activities supported harmonization of practice and the global exchange of imaging science and clinical expertise
